We hope you can attend and our discussion is how to keep the streets safe for our children, people of all abilities and all of us who enjoy walking around Ann Arbor.
Well it seems that the National Association of Realtors and the Michigan Association of Realtors had it wrong yesterday. I need to announce that the $8,000.00 credit is NOT available at the closing table.
It is too early to say that the money is available at the closing table and check back to read the updates as I receive them. I will keep you posted.
The White House and HUD Secretary have announced huge news today. Federal Housing Administration is going to permit its lenders to allow homeowners to use the $8,000 tax credit as a down payment.
If you wonder if it has made a real difference; I can tell you in our market: YES! The first time home buyers are looking in all areas near Ann Arbor and they are purchasing, but the key continues to be pricing your home properly.
If you would like to know what is for sale, how to price your home or what homes are on the market in your neighborhood, please feel free to call. I would be happy to discuss the marketplace with you.
