I couldn't believe it! We had 10 or more inches of snow dumped on us! I didn't even have snowpants or boots to fit the kids yet! (Typically we rarely get snow before Thanksgiving, let alone Halloween!) My local news station sends text messages to my cell phone - so when my phone beeps at 5:15 a.m. I know we either have a delay or cancellation - either way it equals SLEEPING IN! :) Perhaps one of your local stations offers this service as well?
