This weekend is a MUST SEE event at Vet’s Park (Maple and Dexter Road). The event is called CYCLOCROSS and the weather is predicted to be perfect for stopping by and witnessing some crazy riding. These are folks that:
- are real athletes and you can witness the whole course from one place
- ride up steep short hills (think the sledding hill at Vets)
- jump over 18″ barriers carrying their bikes
- love the mud and cold
The A2 cycling community is an active one and if you need some motivation stop by and see these folks or if you just want to see what people do around a baseball field, when it’s not baseball season, stop by.

This weekend the fun outdoor event is located to the west of Ann Arbor, Michigan and you can take a nice bike ride via Dexter-Ann Arbor Road and arrive in Dexter in about 30 minutes from the west side of A2. This fun is Dexter Daze and there are booths, music, dancing and tons of fun to be had.
The booths are open 9:00 a.m. until 8 p.m. I’m sure with the election year can meet candidates if you have a question or two.
If your family was out of town for the 4th of July parade there is an opportunity to enjoy Dexter Parade on Saturday so I hope you can make it.

If you missed the party last night I have started posting photos and what a wonderful time it was!
Art Fairs get set up today and some streets in Ann Arbor are going to be closed to traffic. We will cover the Art Fairs and you are welcome to let us know what is your fav or not to be missed. This could be a booth, a sale in a local store, food booth or music at the big stage.
