WBWC

Published by Karen Moorhead under Ann Arbor Color

I had the pleasure of attending the Grinds of March, 2010 for Washtenaw Biking & Walking Coalition. It was a cold rainy day outside but hot skateboarding to raise funds for the future A2 Skate Park.

Hope you have a great St. Patrick’s Day and how could you go wrong with the sun shinning like this?

Wear your green and remember everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s day.

May the Irish hills caress you..her lakes and rivers bless you.  May the luck of the Irish enfold you & blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

Festifools 2008 - Tomorrow @ 4pm Rain or Shine 2009!

This was a very short video of the wonderful celebration of spring from 2008.  The date is tomorrow and the place is downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Festifools is happening rain or shine.  Come and celebrate spring, arts, music and fun!

Here is a sneak peak from Ann Arbor’s own Myra Klarman.  I promise to be there and hope to see some sunshine, but even rain can’t stop the fun.

What to do New Years Eve in Ann Arbor?

Published by Karen Moorhead under Ann Arbor Color

Here is a list of things you can do in Ann Arbor on New Years Eve:

The Ark’s event:  http://www.a2ark.org/

Firefly on Main:  http://www.fireflyclub.com/NYE08_web.pdf

The Blind Pig:  http://www.blindpigmusic.com/ This sounds like a great party for my 19 year old daughter because it is 18+ and doors open at 9:30.

Comedy, which may be in order to forget 2008:  http://www.aacomedy.com/ Laughter, they say is the best medicine.

One huge event NOT happening this year is the Ypsilanti Dry New Years Eve.  Sorry folks, guess you have to drink in the new year to forget about the old one on December 31.

Myra Klarman’s website has photos of the Gallery Project and a wonderful fundraiser is described by Myra in beautiful photography.  I hope you visit Myra’s site to peak your interest and visit The Gallery which is located at 215 South Fourth Ave in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  This is a creative fundraiser for The Gallery in which you get to take your photos while visiting.

The holiday fundraiser runs from December 10 to January 11 details are available at the Gallery Project.

This story is also covered in one of my favorite Ann Arbor websites: The Ann Arbor Chronicle.  Check out the links provided for additional information.
